The Bole District Directorate of the Ghana Education Service (GES) has commended the Paramount Chief of the Bole Traditional Area, Yiram Bolewura Issahaku Abdulai Kutugefeso I, for instituting the Annual Kutuge Feso Science and Mathematics Quiz for basic schools in the district.

In a letter dated December 2025 and signed by the Bole District Director of Education, Mr. Richard Achinani Sepaga, the Directorate expressed its profound appreciation on behalf of its staff and the entire basic school community, describing the initiative as visionary and impactful.

According to the Directorate, the annual quiz reflects the Bolewura’s strong commitment to educational advancement, particularly in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

The competition, the letter noted, provides a platform for healthy academic rivalry while stimulating pupils’ interest in scientific inquiry and mathematical reasoning.

The Directorate further indicated that the initiative is expected to nurture young innovators and problem solvers who will contribute meaningfully to the socio-economic development of the Bole community and the nation at large.

“Your unwavering support for education continues to be a source of motivation,” the letter stated, adding that the leadership, generosity and dedication of the Paramount Chief to the future of children in the area are deeply appreciated.

The Bole Education Directorate also pledged its full cooperation to ensure the success and sustainability of the annual quiz, describing it as a noble intervention that aligns with national education goals.

The letter concluded with prayers for continued strength, wisdom and divine blessings for the reign of Yiram Bolewura Issahaku Abdulai Kutugefeso I, as he continues to champion education in the Bole Traditional Area.
