Over the weekend Mr Mahama Haruna who is a Presidential Aide was in Bole and was part of a meeting between the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Bole-Bamboi Constituency, Hon. Alhaji Yusif Sulemana and NDC Communicators and Serial Callers.

Writing on Facebook Mr Mahama Haruna said; “As someone who worked closely with many of these dedicated party communicators during my time as General Manager of Bole-based Nkilgi FM, I used the occasion to encourage them to remain committed and hopeful”.

Mr Mahama Mahama said; “I urged all NDC Communicators to continue rallying behind the party’s leadership, particularly the MP, who is making significant efforts to bring development to the Bole-Bamboi Constituency”.

He added that; “Much appreciation to the Bole MP Hon. Alhaji Yusif Sulemana, for his generous donation of 32 bags of rice and GHC16,000 to the NDC Communicators in the constituency to support their Christmas and New Year celebrations”.

Mr Mahama Haruna added; “I also wish to extend heartfelt thanks to Hon. Joyce Bawa Mogtari for her thoughtful support to Serial Callers in the area during the festive season”.

He said, “Earlier I met a group of vibrant young men formerly known as “The Hawks of the NDC in the Bole-Bamboi Constituency” at Wuripe and Sons Royal Lodge (Bole Dubai). Many of them expressed frustration over what they perceive as neglect and lack of recognition despite years of dedicated service, including acting as dispatch riders and guides whenever H.E. John Dramani Mahama visited his home constituency of Bole since 1996”.

Mr Mahama Haruna said; “I reassured them and encouraged their continued support for the party, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, the MP, and the constituency executives”.

Mr Mahama Haruna said; “I also made it clear that I have no parliamentary ambitions in the Bole-Bamboi Constituency and that my sole focus is on serving H.E. President John Dramani Mahama, who has graciously appointed me as a Presidential Aide in the Office of the President”.

He wrote that; “Before leaving Bole, I paid a courtesy call on the Paramount Chief of the Bole Traditional Area and President of the Bole Traditional Council, Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso (I), to express my heartfelt gratitude for his continuous support, wise counsel, and blessings”.

The Presidential Aide Mahama Haruna added that; “My last stop before moving back to Accra was at Bamboi, one of the major towns in the Bole-Bamboi Constituency, where I visited the DCE for Bole, Mr. Abdulai Mahamud, who is currently recuperating in his hometown after being involved in an accident.

He said; “I wished him a speedy recovery and assured him of our continued support during this period”.
