
The National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) Bole District Directorate in the Savannah Region has offered 14 student-size mattresses, 14 bedspreads, and 14 pillows to Kuga Soccer Professionals after their camp was devastated by a fire, resulting in the loss of many of their belongings.
In an interview with Bole-based Nkilgi FM, Mr. Gblenyari Kpaga Timothy, District Director of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO), revealed that on January 26, 2026, his office received an official request for support, prompting collaboration with key stakeholders, including Bole-Bamboi Constituency Member of Parliament Alhaji Yusif Sulemana and District Chief Executive for Bole Mr. Abdulai Mahmud, to donate items to Kuga Soccer Professionals, thereby addressing their camping challenges.
He indicated that NADMO, through the MP and DCE, has made a concerted effort to provide this support as their widow’s mite to alleviate the team’s loss, and that they will continue to offer more support as needed.
The Public Relations Officer of the Kogu Soccer Professionals, Mr. Yahaya Waris, conveyed his heartfelt appreciation on behalf of the team, players, coaches and management board to the District Director of NADMO, Mr. Gblenyari KpagaTimothy, the Member of Parliament for Bole-Bamboi Constituency, Dr. Alhaji Yusif Sulemana and the District Chief Executive Mr. Abdulai Mahmud for their generous donation.
He remarked that they are deeply grateful for the donation as it will significantly contribute to their preparations especially since they have qualified for the sub-middle league and the mattresses, bedspreads and pillows will be highly beneficial when the players arrive on March 10th.
He confessed that he had been eagerly awaiting the support and was delighted to receive the mattresses, pillows, and bedspreads.
