
The Member of Parliament for the Bole-Bamboi Constituency and Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Alhaji Yusif Sulemana, has constructed and mechanized a new borehole for residents of the Nyemange Electoral Area in the Bole District of the Savannah Region, bringing much-needed relief to the community.
Speaking to Bole-based Nkilgi FM, the Assembly Member for the Nyemange Electoral Area, Hon. Alhassan Issahaku, explained that access to potable water has been a major challenge for residents, prompting them to appeal to the MP for support.
He expressed profound gratitude on behalf of the community, noting that the borehole will significantly improve their daily lives.Hon. Issahaku further urged residents to take responsibility for the proper maintenance of the facility.
He stressed that while the MP has delivered the borehole, its sustainability depends on the community’s commitment to its upkeep.He suggested that the community appoint a trusted individual to oversee the borehole’s management, including collecting small contributions when necessary, to ensure timely repairs and long-term functionality.
