
The Chief of the sacred Ndewura Jakpa Meseum, Manshiriase-wura Iddrisu Bonyanso II in the Buipe TraditionalArea of the Gonja Kingdom, is calling on all Gonjalanders in and abroad to keep on visiting the sacred and powerful museum and also help develop the Meseum to consolidate the effort of the Founder of the Gonja Kingdom.
Speaking exclusively to Bole based Nkilgi Fm, Manshiriase-wura Iddrisu Bonyanso II said the purified the gods on Friday and he sees it worrisome for how the sacred place has been abandoned which was supposed to be one of the tourist attractions for people across the world.
He said where he the Chief resides and where the sacred Meseum is located is a distanced and transportation to go for sacrifices is a big challenge to them, but was quick to commended the Buipewura for always supporting annually with transport and that shouldn’t be the duty of the Buipewura alone but the entire kingdom.
Manshiriase-wura Iddrisu Bonyanso II also call on Gonjalanders to help them fence the sacred Meseum as the nature of it is unfortunate and support of everybody.
He stressed that is sad to see that the resting place of the Founder of the Gonja Kingdom, Ndewura Jakpa is just open and the are struggling to fence and is now time to call on all to come on board for the fencing to be done.
He specifically mentioned president John Dramani Mahama, Ibrahim Mahama,Gonjalander Youth Association (GLYA), Youth 4 Peace and Development, Dankare Ba Lembu, Heart of Gonja,Parliamentarians, Government Appointees, Businessmen and Women,Philanthropists, etc to come to his aid for the transport and development of the Sacred Ndewura Jakpa Meseum.
Manshiriase-wura Iddrisu Bonyanso II said he has been to so many places and even outside the country and can tell that resting places for Founders of Kingdoms are not like we have in Gonjaland and is very sad.
He said people come there for sacrifices when they are vying for either political leadership or searching for job and that shouldn’t be.
