
The people of Bole District has observed this month’s National Sanitation Day on the first Saturday of the month.
District Chief Executive, Mr. Abdulai Mahamud, expressed appreciation to participating institutions on behalf of President John Dramani Mahama.
He emphasized the importance of sanitation, citing as the good book says “Cleanliness is next to godliness”, and encouraged personal responsibility.

Mr. Mahamud urged residents to take the initiative serious and not to be relying solely on Zoomlion for cleaning.
President John Dramani Mahama has initiated the monthly clean-up exercise to promote sanitation and cleanliness.
Massive participation from schools and institutions was observed, making the event a success.
The district aims to reduce prevalent health issues like malaria, cholera, and typhoid through this exercise.
Participating institutions included the Bole District Assembly, security agencies, senior high schools, Arise Bole Youth and community members
