
The Member of Parliament for Bole-Bamboi Constituency and Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Yussif Sulemana, has donated 500 bags of rice to support Muslims in the constituency as they prepare to mark the end of the 2026 Ramadan fasting.The donation is aimed at assisting the Muslim community in the breaking of the fast and the celebration of Eid ul-Fitr, a significant festival that marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
Receiving the items on behalf of beneficiaries, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Chairman for the Bole-Bamboi Constituency, Alhaji Alhassan Kamagtey, expressed gratitude to the MP for the continued support. He assured that the rice would be distributed accordingly to serve its intended purpose.
According to him, beneficiaries of the donation will include constituency executives, party elders, branch executives, chiefs and traditional leaders, as well as the Chief Imam and other Islamic clerics (Mallams).He noted that the gesture forms part of the MP’s annual support to Muslims in the constituency during Ramadan and the Eid celebrations which are characterized by prayers, charity, and communal festivities.
The gesture also highlighted appreciation to the President of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, for his commitment and continuous support to communities across the country.
