The Member of Parliament for the Bole-Bamboi Constituency, Hon. Alhaji Yussif Sulemana, has handed over a newly renovated three-unit classroom block to the people of Maluwe, reaffirming his commitment to improving education and social infrastructure across the constituency.
Speaking during the commissioning ceremony on Monday July 27, 2026, Hon. Sulemana said the project forms part of his continuous efforts to provide a conducive learning environment for pupils in rural communities. He noted that the renovation was not the first educational intervention in the area, explaining that another three-unit classroom block had earlier been renovated, prompting the decision to undertake additional works.
Similarly, renovation projects have also been completed at Kiape, while a six-unit classroom block has been renovated at Kakiase to improve educational infrastructure in the constituency.
Beyond education, Hon. Sulemana announced that his office had fulfilled a promise to provide three mechanized boreholes for the Maluwe community. He said the boreholes have already been drilled and preparations are underway to mechanize them to provide residents with access to safe drinking water.
He further revealed plans to establish a health facility in the community, stating that construction will begin soon and be developed in phases until a modern clinic is completed to serve the people of Maluwe and surrounding communities.
The MP also used the occasion to congratulate the newly re-elected branch executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the areas following the party’s recent reorganization exercise. He urged them to remain committed to strengthening the party and supporting development initiatives within the constituency.
The Bole District Director of Education, Richard Achinani Sepaga, expressed appreciation to the MP for his sustained support to the education sector.
He described Hon. Sulemana as a dependable partner of the Bole District Education Directorate, noting that since assuming office in 2023, the MP has consistently supported the directorate through the renovation of school infrastructure, the provision of classroom furniture, and assistance for sporting activities aimed at nurturing young talents.
Mr. Sepaga thanked the MP on behalf of the directorate and prayed for God’s continued blessings upon him, expressing confidence that the education sector would continue to benefit from his support.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiary community, Malam Baba Yussif thanked the Member of Parliament for his numerous development interventions. He assured the MP that the community would take good care of the renovated classroom block and ensure that it is properly maintained for the benefit of current and future generations of pupils.
The renovation of the classroom blocks and the planned provision of water and healthcare facilities form part of ongoing efforts to improve access to quality education and essential social services in communities across the Bole-Bamboi Constituency.
