The leadership of the Kamara Community in Accra paid a courtesy call on Hon. Yusif Sulemana (Ori), Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources and Member of Parliament for the Bole-Bamboi Constituency.

The purpose of the visit was to congratulate Hon. Sulemana on his appointment and to express the community’s appreciation for his continuous support and commitment to the welfare of the Kamara Community. Discussions also focused on the general development of Laribanga, particularly in the areas of education, culture, and youth empowerment. The positioning of the annual Jintigi Festival as a strategic tool for community development featured prominently during the engagement.

Hon. Sulemana expressed his gratitude to the delegation for the visit, as well as for the prayers and support he continues to receive from the Chief Imam of Laribanga and the entire Kamara fraternity. He assured the group of his unwavering commitment to the welfare and development of Laribanga, a community with which he shares a common lineage.

He further emphasized the importance of peace, unity, and collective effort as essential ingredients for sustainable development.The delegation was led by Alhaji Issah Kamara, Chairman of the Kamara Community in Accra.

Other members included Alhaji Tamimu Seidu (Tom), Vice Chairman; Mr. Adama Mustapha (Pheirc), Treasurer; and Baba Sadique Zankawah, Esq., a member of the community.
