
The Chairman of Camp 99, an NDC group in Bole, Alhassan Abdulai, popularly known as Yoyoyoo, has praised the Director of Passports in Ghana, Mr. Yahaya Amantana Mahama, for facilitating the establishment of a passport office in Damongo in the Savannah Region.
In a video shared on his TikTok page, Yoyoyoo commended Mr. Amantana Mahama for what he described as a significant intervention that has eased the difficulties residents of the Savannah Region previously faced in obtaining passports.
According to him, residents in the region had, for years, been compelled to travel to passport offices in Tamale or Kumasi to process their applications, creating additional financial and logistical burdens.
He said the establishment of the passport office in Damongo has changed the situation, making access to passport services considerably easier for residents of the region.

Yoyoyoo further noted that although Mr. Amantana Mahama had been in his current position for less than two years, he had already begun addressing major challenges that had confronted the people for many years.
He described the Director’s leadership as the kind of leadership needed to drive development, stressing that Mr. Amantana Mahama’s achievements should be supported.

“Amantana is not an easy person. So I am pleading with you, the people of Bole-Bamboi. Let’s push Amantana. When we push him to a ministerial position, Bole will develop more than this”.

He called on residents of the Bole-Bamboi Constituency to support and encourage Mr. Yahaya Amantana, arguing that his leadership qualities and development-oriented approach could contribute significantly to the advancement of the area if given greater responsibility.
Mr. Yahaya Amantana Mahama is the Director of Passports in Ghana and has been associated with efforts to modernize and improve passport services in the country.
