The Paramount Chief of the Bole Traditional Area and President of the Bole Traditional Council, Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso I, has made a passionate appeal to government appointees from Bole to intensify development efforts in the area, emphasizing the urgent need for improved infrastructure, education, healthcare and youth empowerment.

Delivering a speech at a Traditional Council meeting held at the Bole Mom and Dad Legacy Lodge Hotel on behalf of the Bolewura, The registrar of the Traditional Council Mr. Abdulai Mohammed described the gathering as a crucial moment for renewed commitment, collaboration and action toward the progress of the area.

Addressing some of distinguished government representatives, members of the Traditional Council, youth leadership, and the media, he underscored that development must go beyond policy and directly impact the daily lives of people at the grassroots.“Our community is rich in culture, history, and human potential,” he stated, “but potential alone cannot transform lives. It must be backed by deliberate development efforts and strong partnerships.

”Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso I expressed appreciation for the role of government in national development but stressed that more attention must be directed toward underserved communities like Bole. He highlighted key priority areas, including the need for improved road networks to enhance connectivity, better-equipped schools to prepare the youth for the future, accessible healthcare facilities and sustainable economic opportunities to address youth unemployment.

The Paramount Chief further revealed his strong desire to see significant and visible development in the Bole Traditional Area during his reign, particularly through collaboration with His Excellency John Dramani Mahama.

He described this vision as both a personal commitment and a responsibility to future generations.He called on government appointees to work closely with traditional authorities to ensure that development goals are achieved within the current administration’s tenure.Emphasizing the importance of partnership, the Bolewura assured that traditional leaders are ready to support development initiatives by maintaining peace, facilitating land access, and mobilizing community support.“Development is not a one-sided effort,” he noted.

“We seek a strengthened partnership built on trust, transparency and accountability.”The Bolewura also advocated for regular engagement between government officials and traditional leadership to ensure that development projects align with the real needs of the people and to avoid misunderstandings.

He urged government representatives to seize what he described as a rare opportunity to make a lasting impact, noting that the time for promises had passed and that immediate action was required.“This is the time for the development of Bole and the entire Gonja Kingdom,” he stressed, encouraging appointees to give their best efforts so their contributions would be recognized during their tenure.

The District Chief Executive for Bole District Mr. Abdulai Mahmud Commended the Bolewura and his Council for inviting appointees from Bole to know what they are doing in their various sectors.He said the government is doing alot of infrastructure projects in the district and very soon the District will be developed.

The representative of the youth Mr. Adams Abdulai Culture said the District Chief Executive for Bole Mr Abdulai Mahmud is doing very well for the development of the District. He said the youth have been pushing for the development of the District and they are not happy some of the appointees couldn’t make it to the meeting.
