Nasco Feeding Minds, in partnership with the Barça Foundation, has commissioned a fully equipped Information and Communication Technology (ICT) laboratory for Tuna Senior High School to enhance digital learning for students and the wider Tuna community.
The facility was officially inaugurated on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, as part of efforts to expand access to quality education and digital skills training across Ghana.
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, the Chief Executive Officer of Nasco Feeding Minds, Mr. Banasco Nuhu Seidu, described the collaboration with the Barça Foundation as a major milestone in the organization’s 12-year mission to empower young people and help reduce irregular migration through education and technology.

According to him, the initiative began over a decade ago while he was still a student at the University of Ghana.
“Twelve years ago, while I was still a student at the University of Ghana, I worked with my brother in Spain on the idea of supporting young people to address the challenges we faced and create opportunities at home,” he stated. “Today we are celebrating the journey, the milestones, and the growth that passion has driven.”

Mr. Seidu emphasized that Nasco Feeding Minds focuses on creating long-term impact rather than simply handing over infrastructure.“We provide resources that transform lives,” he said, adding that the organization has established more than 22 ICT and learning centers across the country, including facilities in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District, Fianso in Techiman, Daboya in the Savannah Region, Wa in the Upper West Region, Bole, the University of Ghana, and a training center at North Legon in Accra.
He further disclosed that the organization has expanded its reach through two additional initiatives — Tech Talent Africa and NascoTech, both aimed at equipping young Africans with skills needed in the global digital economy.“Africa is the youngest continent, but many governments lack the resources to provide quality education at scale,” he noted.

“The World Economic Forum projects that Africa will soon supply much of the world’s workforce. The question is: will Africa have what it takes to prepare that human resource? That is where partnerships like this come in.”
The Chief of Tuna, Tunawura Sarfo Amantana, commended Nasco Feeding Minds and the Barça Foundation for the initiative and urged authorities of Tuna Senior High School to ensure proper maintenance of the facility to preserve it for future generations.
Nasco Feeding Minds reaffirmed its commitment to collaborating with partners to complement government efforts in promoting quality education and digital transformation in Ghana.
