The Member of Parliament (MP) for Bole-Bamboi and Deputy Minister for lands and Natural Resources, Hon Dr Yusif Sulemana has acknowledged the important role of the Bole Community Credit Union in tackling poverty through sustainable job creation and credit to small and medium enterprises in the constituency. Spokesperson, Mr Iddisah Tahiru Omega at the Bank’s 25th annual general meeting, the Hon MP indicated that the numerous individuals who have been engaged by the bank, would have been part of the numerous job seekers on his list.

Dr Yusif added that credit support to hundreds of traders across the constituency by the Bank is significantly reducing poverty and stimulating the local economy making many constituents financially free.

The MP for the Bole-Bamboi Constituency also encouraged the management of the Bank to prioritize professionalism and desist from actions that could lead to the collapse of the institution.

He said; “Should this Bank encounter any set back because of your actions; all those whose livelihoods depend on it will forgive you”.

Mr Tahiru Omega speaking on behalf of the Bole MP congratulated the Bank on its silver jubilee milestone and also pledged the full support of the Bole-Bamboi MP in growing the Bank.
