The Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) has invited members of the leadership of the Arise Bole Youth to assist with an ongoing investigation.
In separate letters addressed to individual members of the leadership, the BNI asked them to report to the Director of Investigations at the Bureau’s office at No. 4 Kluvia Close, Kawokudi, near the traffic lights in Accra.
According to the letters, the meeting was scheduled for Friday, September 11, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
The invitation stated that the leadership had been requested to assist the Bureau with an ongoing investigation, but did not disclose details about the subject or nature of the investigation.
The letter, titled “Invitation,” reads:
“The Bureau of National Investigations presents its compliments to you.
You kindly invited to report to the Director of Investigations at No 4 Kluvia Close Kawokudi near the Traffic lights Accra, Global Positioning system G4108- 6736 on Friday 11th September, 2026 at 10:00hours to assist with an ongoing investigation”.
The letter was signed on behalf of the Director-General of the BNI by Alice P. Chanayireh, Acting Deputy Director-General.
The invitation comes amid uncertainty over the specific issues that prompted the Bureau to invite the leadership.
The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Arise Bole Youth, Adams Abdulai, popularly known as Culture, who received one of the invitations, confirmed the development in the Arise Bole Youth WhatsApp group.
He, however, advised members of the group to be circumspect in their public utterances regarding the matter.
Mr. Abdulai also expressed reservations about why the leadership was invited by the BNI’s national office in Accra rather than the Bole District Division or the Savannah Regional office of the Bureau.
