Bolewura’s Delegation Meets Chief of Staff, Council of State Over Tingawura’s Final Funeral
A delegation from the Paramount Chief of the Bole Traditional Area, Bolewura Safo Kutuge Feso (I), and the family of the late Tingawura Alhaji Seidu Sampson Abudu has formally notified the Government of Ghana of the date for the late chief’s final funeral rites.
The delegation met with the Chief of Staff at the Jubilee House in Accra on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, as part of traditional and family arrangements to officially communicate the funeral date to key state institutions.
The delegation formally announced that the final funeral rites of the late Tingawura Alhaji Seidu Sampson Abudu will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2026, in Bole, in the Savannah Region.
Ealier, the delegation visited the State House in Accra, where it officially informed the Council of State of the date for the final funeral rites.
The delegation comprised Korlewura Seidu Kotomah, Kanyepewura Solomon Tampuri, Alhaji Dr Yussif Sulemana, MP for Bole-Bamboi, Madam Veronica Alele Heming, Mahama Haruna, Alhaji Sule Osman and Benjamin Larbi Haruna.
The engagements form part of the traditional and family responsibilities ahead of the funeral, ensuring that key state institutions are formally informed of the arrangements.
The late Tingawura Alhaji Seidu Sampson Abudu, who served as the Savannah Regional representative on the Council of State, was a prominent traditional leader in the Bole Traditional Area and contributed to traditional affairs and community development.
Preparations are continuing in Bole ahead of the final funeral rites on Sunday, September 20, 2026.
