A National Service Personnel Association (NASPA) National Women’s Commissioner (WOCOM) hopeful, Issah Khadijahtu, has donated exercise books to pupils of Sawla E/A Junior High School as part of efforts to support education and inspire young people to pursue their aspirations.
The donation forms part of her broader commitment to community service as she seeks to serve as the next NASPA National Women’s Commissioner.
Speaking to the pupils during the engagement, Issah Khadijahtu encouraged them to take their education seriously and remain disciplined, focused and determined to achieve their goals.
She urged the pupils not to allow their backgrounds or present circumstances to limit their ambitions, stressing that education remains an important pathway to achieving their dreams.
According to her, although the exercise books may represent a modest contribution, the gesture was intended to communicate a bigger message to the pupils that their education, dreams and future matter.
She said her aspiration to serve as National Service Personnel Association (NASPA) National Women’s Commissioner (WOCOM) is rooted in the belief that leadership should go beyond words and positions to create opportunities and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Issah Khadijahtu was joined by the Financial Secretary of NASPA Northern, North East and Savannah Regions, Nyadia Abdul Hafiz, as well as executives of NASPA in the Sawla District.
The engagement provided an opportunity for the NASPA representatives to interact with the pupils and encourage them to remain committed to their education.
Issah Khadijahtu said her vision for the National Service Personnel Association (NASPA) National Women’s Commissioner (WOCOM) position is centred on inspiring, empowering and creating meaningful impact through service.
She emphasised that leadership should be measured not only by the positions people occupy, but also by how they use opportunities to support and uplift others.
