
Dramani Bashiru Amantana, the Communication Officer for the Bole-Bamboi Constituency and a member of both the Regional and National Communications Teams has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Savannah Regional Communication Officer.
In a formal declaration addressed to party delegates, communicators, and faithful, Amantana outlined a bold vision aimed at strengthening the party’s communication machinery ahead of the crucial 2028 general elections.Describing his political journey as one rooted in loyalty, sacrifice, and dedicated service, Amantana recounted his rise through the ranks of the party, beginning as a TEIN Vice President and subsequently serving as Deputy Communication Officer, Acting Communication Officer and now Communication Officer for the Bole-Bamboi Constituency.
According to him, these leadership roles have equipped him with the practical experience, strategic insight and deep understanding necessary to lead the Savannah Regional Communications Bureau into a new era.Reflecting on the achievements of the Communications Bureau in the region, Amantana stressed the need to build upon existing successes while introducing innovative approaches to meet emerging political and media challenges.”The strides made so far must not be treated as isolated achievements but as a legacy that demands continuity, improvement and innovation,” he stated.

As such, he believes the Communications Bureau must be repositioned to communicate effectively, respond strategically, and engage meaningfully with the electorate.
Amantana’s vision for the bureau includes strengthening and re-energizing communications teams across all constituencies, introducing innovative communication strategies, enhancing message discipline and rapid response systems, deepening grassroots communication, and fostering a united and professional communications front across the Savannah Region.
Aligning his aspirations with the party’s Reset Agenda, he pledged to lead with integrity, accountability, inclusiveness, and teamwork if elected.He also committed to investing in capacity building and mentorship programs to empower communicators throughout the region and ensure that every member of the bureau remains relevant, motivated and impactful.
