
The Member of Parliament for the Bole-Bamboi Constituency and Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Hon. Yusif Sulemana, has secured a six-unit classroom block and three mechanized boreholes from the Minerals Development Fund (MDF) as part of efforts to improve educational infrastructure and access to safe drinking water across the constituency.

At a brief ceremony held on Monday, June 2, 2026, officials of the Minerals Development Fund formally handed over the project sites for the commencement of the landmark initiatives. The officials commended Hon. Sulemana for his commitment and relentless efforts in securing the projects for the benefit of his constituents.
They also appealed to community members to cooperate with contractors and provide the necessary support to ensure the successful execution of the projects.Joining the ceremony virtually, Hon. Yusif Sulemana expressed profound gratitude to His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama for his guidance and unwavering support throughout the process.
He also thanked the leadership of the Minerals Development Fund for their prompt response and commitment to the development needs of the constituency.
Under the initiative, a six-unit classroom block will be constructed at Wasipe to enhance teaching and learning. Additionally, two mechanized boreholes will be provided for the people of Maluwe while the Wakawaka community will benefit from one mechanized borehole to improve access to potable water.

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Bole District, in his remarks, urged the project team to deliver quality work within the stipulated timeframe. He further assured them of the full support and cooperation of the District Assembly throughout the implementation period.

The projects are expected to significantly improve educational outcomes and water supply in the beneficiary communities, contributing to the broader development agenda of the Bole-Bamboi Constituency.
